Brad Hecht leads Iconoculture’s research organization, directing research strategy, planning, delivery and management. Before coming to Iconoculture, he was chief research officer and chief product strategist at Yankee Group, where he managed the company’s product portfolio; global research and consulting organization; and strategy for and advancement of all research content. He also served as the company’s executive vice president of business operations and strategy, developing and implementing operational efficiencies in the sales, research and client account management organizations. Prior to his work with Yankee Group, Brad served as a vice president and general manager at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he was responsible for expanding their technology content strategy. Before MIT, he was cofounder and executive vice president of TechnologyEvaluation.Com (TEC), a publicly traded business-to-business consulting firm and content portal. Earlier in his career, Brad spent almost a decade at Gartner Group, serving as senior vice president and head of research at Gartner’s fastest-growing subsidiary. He led research planning and standards; model development; and analyst training, management and support; and he spent several years in various research and advisory positions with Gartner. His writing has been published in numerous business journals. Brad holds a dual degree in International Business and Science and Technology from Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service.
