As co-founder and executive vice president, Mary Meehan helped create Iconoculture’s revolutionary framework for delivering actionable business ideas based on in-depth consumer analysis. Since the company’s launch in 1992, she has worked to develop, distill and disseminate Iconoculture’s groundbreaking, philosophies and methodologies, changing the way CEOs, ad execs and product developers view the consumer.

Today, Mary brings that same entrepreneurial spirit to her role directing the growth of the Iconoculture brand and overseeing the continued evolution of the theoretical framework and methodology. Her vision was instrumental in launching Iconoculture’s annual client event, Iconosphere 2007, which premiered in October 2006. A self-proclaimed culture maven, Mary also conducts proprietary consumer research projects across multiple lifestyle categories, parsing the cultural icons and emerging trends that define consumer behaviors around the world.

As a prominent figure in the world of consumer insight and research, Mary contributes expert opinions to news sources like Advertising Age, the Associated Press, the BBC, CNN, CMO, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek and the Minneapolis Star Tribune. In 2005, Mary was the recipient of a 2005 Twin Cities Business Journal “Women in Business” Changemaker award. She also serves on the advisory panel for the University of Minnesota's Strategic Communication program in the Twin Cities.
